Well, however you want to define it, England have found some of it.

First of all by not choking during the ICC World Twenty20 and dispatching Australia, well, as if they were anyone else, really.

And secondly by not easing up on Bangladesh.

That’s pretty good news because, if we have any pretentions to making progress up the ICC Test rankings, we’re going to need a bucketful.

Not to mention retaining the Ashes this winter.
